Timia Taylor, a 2-year-old from Louisville, Kentucky, tragically died on February 16, 2016, after suffering blunt force trauma while at Shawnee Gardens apartments. Authorities quickly ruled her death a homicide. Timia's father, Jerrel Holloway, was identified as the primary suspect and later turned himself in to the police in May 2017. The circumstances leading to the fatal incident are still under investigation, but Timia's death has left the community mourning the loss of such a young life .
