Roger Wayne Johnson, a 36-year-old white male, was a self-employed handyman living in Louisville, Kentucky. His life was unexpectedly cut short on Thursday, September 10, 2020, when he was killed in a double shooting in the Shawnee neighborhood. The incident occurred at 102 North 40th Street. Another person was injured in the shooting but survived. News reports at the time identified Johnson as the deceased victim.
