On January 10, 2023, 49-year-old David Boyd of Louisville, Kentucky, was fatally shot in the city's Russell neighborhood. The incident occurred around 7 p.m. in the 3100 block of Vermont Avenue. Upon arrival, Louisville Metro Police Department officers found 46-year-old Caleb Pace deceased at the scene from gunshot wounds.
