In the early morning hours of August 14, 2021, 27-year-old Kyle Michael Elzy, a White/Caucasian male, was at the Triple Crown Car Wash in the Lyndon neighborhood of Louisville, Kentucky. He had recently scratched his new car and, wanting to fix it himself, had gone to the car wash to clean the surface before painting it. It was a decision that would tragically prove to be his last.
