In the early evening of January 7, 2021, a burst of violence shattered the cold winter air in the Shawnee neighborhood of Louisville, Kentucky. Within a span of just a few minutes, three separate shootings occurred, leaving a trail of bloodshed and a community in shock. One of the lives tragically cut short in this string of events was that of 20-year-old Shyron Jackson, a Black male from Louisville.
