In the early evening of May 11, 2024, tragedy struck in a residential area of Lyndon, a community within Louisville, Kentucky. Adrian Lewis, a 31-year-old Black man, was fatally shot in the 8300 block of Doncaster Way. First responders from the St. Matthews Fire and EMS arrived at the scene around 5:30 p.m. to find Lewis suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Despite their efforts, he was pronounced dead at the location.
