In the late afternoon of a Friday in Louisville, Kentucky, a young life was tragically cut short. Arianna Smith, a 12-year-old female, was shot on February 12, 2021, on Elane Drive, near Cane Run Road. Just days away from her thirteenth birthday, the incident added to a growing concern over youth violence in the city.
