In the early morning hours of April 7, 2021, the life of 35-year-old Lowell Anthony Washington of Louisville, Kentucky, was tragically cut short in a burst of violence. A Black male, Washington was in an apartment in the 1800 block of Dalton Court in Lexington when gunfire erupted around 5 a.m. Responding to reports of shots fired, Lexington Police arrived at a grim scene.
