In the spring of 2021, the life of Hayden Alexander Nash, a 17-year-old Black/African American male from Lexington, Kentucky, was tragically cut short. On the afternoon of Sunday, April 18th, police were called to an apartment building on Alumni Drive with a report of a shooting. There, they found Hayden with fatal injuries. He was pronounced dead at the scene at 4:30 p.m.
