In the afternoon of June 10, 2021, a burst of violence shattered the quiet of the Forrest Hills neighborhood in Paducah, Kentucky, leaving a young man's life cut tragically short. Thomas Willett, a 28-year-old male resident of Paducah, was shot near the intersection of Elmdale Drive and Jameswood Drive at approximately 2:58 p.m. Emergency services rushed him to Mercy Health-Lourdes Hospital, but his injuries proved fatal, and he was pronounced dead at 4:52 p.m.
