In the late summer of 2020, a violent encounter in a Paducah, Kentucky, apartment claimed the life of 31-year-old Victor E. Moore. On August 22, Moore and a 23-year-old woman named Justice Hicks were fatally shot in an apartment located on College Avenue in the Lone Oak area of McCracken County. The incident stemmed from a dispute over an alleged drug debt.
