In the summer of 2021, a 37-year-old man, Derek Justin Harless, was found dead from a gunshot wound in Louisville, Kentucky. A United States Army veteran, Harless was discovered in the Wyandotte neighborhood on Sunday, June 13, 2021, at approximately 4:30 in the afternoon. The location of the incident was in the 700 block of Denmark Street, where authorities believe the shooting occurred outside.
