On July 2, 2021, 29-year-old Jacob Lawrence Rogers was fatally shot in Louisville, Kentucky. The incident occurred in the Portland neighborhood, where Rogers sustained critical injuries from gunfire. Emergency responders transported him to a local hospital, but he succumbed to his injuries the following day, July 3, 2021.
