In the early evening of a summer Friday in Louisville, Kentucky, a young man's life was tragically cut short. Tevin Roberts, a 29-year-old Black male, was found inside his car on June 10, 2022, in the parking lot of the Laundry Connection on West Broadway in the Parkland neighborhood. He had been shot at least once, and when officers from the Louisville Metro Police Department arrived at the scene around 6:30 p.m., he was already gone. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
