In the early morning hours of Saturday, September 24, 2022, the life of 29-year-old Black male, Latroy Swain Jr., was tragically cut short in Louisville, Kentucky. Responding to a call of a shooting at approximately 5:30 a.m., Louisville Metro Police Department officers arrived at the 3000 block of Manslick Road in the Jacobs neighborhood. There, they discovered Swain, who had sustained fatal gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
