On the night of March 19, 2020, 31-year-old African American male Steven Rico Murdock was fatally shot in Louisville, Kentucky. The incident occurred around 10:30 p.m. in the 100 block of South 41st Street, located in the Shawnee neighborhood. Upon arrival, officers from the Louisville Metro Police Department discovered Murdock suffering from at least one gunshot wound.
