In the early hours of a Saturday morning in Louisville, Kentucky, the life of 35-year-old Terry Dejuan Johnson was tragically cut short. On December 18, 2021, officers from the Louisville Metro Police Department responded to a call about a person down at the intersection of 5th Street and Lansing Avenue in the Wyandotte neighborhood. Upon their arrival around 9 a.m., they discovered Mr.
Johnson, who had been shot multiple times and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Jefferson County Coroner's Office later publicly identified Terry Dejuan Johnson as the victim of the fatal shooting. The investigation into his death was handed over to the LMPD's Homicide Unit.
