In the summer of 2019, a burst of gunfire in the Jacobs neighborhood of Louisville, Kentucky, tragically cut short the life of 17-year-old Jerome A. Miles, Jr. The incident, which unfolded on June 23rd, also claimed the life of 17-year-old Robindion O'Bryant and left a third individual wounded. Jerome, a Black male, was discovered in an alley off Parthenia Drive and was rushed to University Hospital, where he ultimately succumbed to his injuries.
