In the early morning hours of Wednesday, July 18, 2018, police were called to the 6000 block of Jeanine Drive in Louisville, Kentucky, after reports of shots fired. Upon their arrival at the residence around 3 a.m., they discovered the body of 43-year-old Raul Oliva in the front yard. Oliva, a Hispanic male who lived in the area, was suffering from at least one gunshot wound and was pronounced dead at the scene.
