In the late evening hours of September 11, 2022, a sense of unease settled over a section of Louisville, Kentucky. It was near the Watterson Expressway on South 3rd Street, a place of constant transit, that a grim discovery was made. Officers from the Louisville Metro Police Department were dispatched to the area under the I-264 overpass around 11 p.m. following reports of a shooting.
