On the evening of September 3, 2020, a tragedy unfolded in the west end of Louisville, Kentucky, that cut short the life of 31-year-old Devin Thomas Eggers. A White male, Eggers was discovered in the 2400 block of Portland Avenue just before 10:30 p.m., having sustained multiple gunshot wounds. Alongside him, another man, 52-year-old Zachary Stewart, was also found deceased at the scene, a victim of the same violent act.
