On February 11, 2022, 43-year-old Lorraine "Rainey" Lynn Anderson was fatally shot in Louisville, Kentucky. The incident occurred around 12:30 a.m. in the 4300 block of Sunset Avenue in the Chickasaw neighborhood. Upon arrival, Louisville Metro Police Department (LMPD) officers found Anderson outside with at least one gunshot wound. She was transported to the University of Louisville Hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries.
