Known for her bright smile and energetic personality, Anderson was fatally shot on February 11, 2022. Born on December 29, 1978, in Colorado Springs, Colorado, Lorraine was raised in Louisville where she became a beloved mother,
sister, and friend. She was a graduate of Valley High School and later, Empire Beauty School. Her professional life was dedicated to caring for and protecting others; she worked at a daycare and also as a security guard, having earned a certificate in Criminal Justice. Her greatest joy, however, was her children. She cherished spending time with them and was a constant source of love and activity in their lives.
Those who knew Lorraine remember her as a woman who was full of life. She had a passion for singing and dancing, activities that reflected her cheerful and lively spirit. Her death, a result of gun violence, left a void in the hearts of her family and community. She is survived by her two daughters, her siblings, and a host of other relatives and friends who remember her for the light she brought into their lives.
