Phillip Toon Dupree, a 26-year-old African American male, was tragically shot and killed on January 13, 2016, in the Auburn Gresham neighborhood of Chicago, IL. The incident occurred around 2:40 p.m. when Phillip and his 62-year-old grandmother were both shot in the head. Phillip was pronounced dead at the scene, while his grandmother was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn in serious condition.
