In the quiet, rural landscape of Marion, Kentucky, the life of 80-year-old Gerald Jerry Wayne Paris, a White / Caucasian male, came to a tragic and unexpected end on February 28, 2022. A veteran of the United States Army who had served in Korea, Paris was the former owner of the Uniguard Security Agency. On that Monday morning, a distressing call to law enforcement would unravel a grim family tragedy.
The call came from one of Paris's sons, who lived outside of Crittenden County. He relayed a chilling confession he had received from his brother, Timothy Paris. Timothy, 37, had reportedly told his brother that he had shot their father.
