Ernest Martin Cline, an 83-year-old male resident of Bowling Green, Kentucky, was found deceased in his home on August 25, 2024. The Kentucky State Police were called to the residence on The Bridge Road in the Wingfield area of Edmonson County at approximately 12:30 a.m. to assist the local sheriff's office with a report of a deceased elderly man. Upon investigation, it was determined that Cline had died from a shooting. He was discovered in his bed.
