The life of 32-year-old Haris Boskailo was cut tragically short on April 14th of that year, a Thursday evening that ended in bloodshed in the parking lot of Hoops Grill and Sports Bar in the Southland Park neighborhood. He was a male, but his ethnicity was not publicly available.
Found slain alongside him was 21-year-old Alden Fernandez. The nature of the relationship between Boskailo and Fernandez, if any, remained a mystery to investigators in the immediate aftermath.
