In the late hours of a Thursday evening in Louisville, Kentucky, the lively atmosphere of a popular sports bar was shattered by sudden violence, forever altering the lives of two families. On April 14, 2022, Alden Fernandez, a 21-year-old male of Cuban descent, was fatally shot in the parking lot of Hoops Grill & Sports Bar on Strawberry Lane.
