In the early morning hours of July 10, 2024, a dispute in a parking lot on West Chestnut Street in Louisville's Russell neighborhood turned fatal for 60-year-old Thaddeus Eugene Miller. The altercation, which occurred around 3:17 a.m. at South 26th and West Chestnut streets, ultimately led to Miller's untimely death from a gunshot wound to the head.
