A young man's life was cut short on a Saturday afternoon in Louisville, Kentucky, leaving a community searching for answers. On May 14, 2022, the body of Abdi Noor, a male resident of Louisville, was discovered in an alley in the Taylor Berry neighborhood. The Jefferson County Coroner's office would later confirm that the 18-year-old had died from at least one gunshot wound.
The discovery was made after Louisville Metro Police Department officers responded to a ShotSpotter alert in the 900 block of Euclid Avenue around 12:45 p.m. Upon their arrival, they found Noor deceased at the scene.
