In the late evening hours of a Friday in Louisville, Kentucky, the life of 52-year-old Mario Anderson was tragically cut short. On August 19, 2022, in the Portland neighborhood, Anderson was found with gunshot wounds in the 2000 block of Bank Street. The call came in around 10 p.m., a time when the city was settling into the rhythms of the weekend. When police arrived at the scene, they discovered Anderson, a male, who was pronounced dead from his injuries.
