On a cold December day in 2014, the life of 28-year-old Komel Rasool Alam Crowley came to a tragic end in her Apple Valley, Minnesota home. She, along with her 5-year-old daughter Raniya, were victims of a horrific act of domestic violence perpetrated by her husband, 29-year-old David Crowley, who then took his own life. The family's bodies were not discovered until weeks later, on January 17, 2015, after concerned neighbors reported that they had not seen the family for some time.
