Carrie Marie Shobe Kwok, a 66-year-old artist and resident of St. Paul, Minnesota, tragically lost her life on September 25, 2024, in what police described as a random act of violence. Kwok was shot and killed while working on a mural outside the Lowertown Lofts Artist Cooperative, where she lived. The incident occurred around 5:18 p.m. in the 200 block of Kellogg Boulevard, near St. Paul's Union Depot.
