In a quiet home on a late November evening in north Minneapolis, a dispute between two acquaintances escalated into a fatal encounter. On November 28, 2015, Robert Montrele Mathis, a 29-year-old male, was shot and killed. The Hennepin County medical examiner's office later confirmed that Mathis died from a gunshot wound to the head. The incident occurred at a residence on the 3300 block of Logan Avenue N. around 8 p.m.
