Raumez Ross

On a Monday afternoon, September 9, 2019, in Saint Paul, Minnesota, 18-year-old Raumez Ross, a Black / African American male, was walking on a busy street in the city's North End. It was around 4:30 p.m. near the intersection of Rice Street and Winnipeg Avenue West when gunfire erupted. Ross was struck by bullets fired from across the street. Despite being wounded, he managed to make his way into the nearby Winnipeg Grocery store, where he collapsed on the floor.
