On March 16, 2025, 33-year-old African American woman Brenisha Butcher was fatally shot outside Bar 107, located at 107th Street and Granville Road in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Her 30-year-old sister, Brittany Butcher, also African American, sustained multiple gunshot wounds but survived.
