On the night of Friday, October 30, 2020, Deondra Redmon, a 38-year-old Black / African American man, was fatally shot in Minneapolis. The incident occurred around 10:10 p.m. in the 2000 block of West Broadway. Minneapolis Police responded to reports of gunfire in the area and upon arrival, they discovered Redmon on the ground with gunshot wounds.
