On November 16, 2019, Mohamed Ahmed Hassan, a 30-year-old resident of Columbia Heights, was fatally shot near the Stone Arch Bridge in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The incident occurred in the Marcy-Holmes neighborhood, specifically near the intersection of Main Street Southeast and 6th Avenue Southeast.
