A man is murdered during a car shooting
Frank Sam Early, a 37-year-old man, was shot and killed in North Minneapolis on November 19, 2011. He was a passenger in a vehicle driven by a woman when the car was fired upon near the intersection of Plymouth and Washington Avenues. The vehicle crossed into the opposite lane before crashing into a parked car in a business parking lot. Early died at the scene due to gunshot wounds, while the woman driving, who suffered a gunshot wound to the head, survived but remained in critical condition.
Authorities responded to what initially appeared to be a car accident, only to discover that both occupants had been shot. Investigators recovered bullet casings at the scene but were unable to apprehend any suspects.
