On a cold December day in Wichita, Kansas, the life of 15-year-old Hispanic male, Marcus Chavez, came to a tragic end. On December 15, 2012, his mother, Sandra Torres, was returning home with Christmas presents when she discovered him lifeless in his room. The cause of death was a gunshot wound.
