On a Saturday afternoon in Garden City, Kansas, what began as a verbal dispute in the parking lot of a Dillons grocery store tragically ended the life of 32-year-old Jeremy Pascascio. The date was December 6, 2014, and the incident unfolded around 5:10 p.m. when Pascascio approached a vehicle occupied by a man and a woman. An argument ensued, and during the confrontation, Pascascio sustained gunshot wounds to his upper body.
He was quickly transported to a local hospital but was pronounced dead.
Following the shooting, the suspect fled the scene. Police received information that he had gone to a nearby YMCA. Officers were able to locate and arrest 21-year-old Loren Wiseman of Wichita.
