In the early morning hours of March 6, 2023, a life was cut tragically short in Garden City, Kansas. Braxtyn Loyd, a 27-year-old White/Caucasian male, was fatally shot inside a residence on North 3rd Street. The events that led to this fatal encounter began after a family member picked Loyd up after he had been out for the evening. An altercation subsequently broke out among family members at the home.
