In the afternoon of November 14, 2016, the Bida Saigon restaurant in Wichita, Kansas, was the scene of a sudden and tragic event. Tan Van Vu, a 47-year-old male, was a frequent patron of the establishment, and on this day, he was inside the restaurant located in the 3800 block of East Harry. The atmosphere in the restaurant leading up to the incident was described as calm, with no apparent disturbances, arguments, or fights.
