On a late Thursday night in April 2017, the life of 22-year-old Brandon Nelson, a White male, was tragically cut short in Wichita, Kansas. Nelson was in the parking lot of the Village Park at Kingsborough apartments, where he lived, when a car pulled into the lot. A single gunshot shattered the evening quiet, and Nelson was struck. Police were called to the 2700 block of South Seneca, where they discovered Nelson's body in the parking lot.
