On a Thursday afternoon, August 24, 2017, the life of a 32-year-old Black/African American man named Eric Plummer was tragically cut short in Topeka, Kansas. At approximately 3:00 PM, officers from the Topeka Police Department were dispatched to the area of 23rd and SE Bellview following reports of a shooting. Upon their arrival, they discovered Eric Plummer suffering from life-threatening injuries.
