In the early morning hours of June 20, 2020, the life of Terry Tignor, a 55-year-old White male, was tragically cut short in a central Topeka, Kansas neighborhood. Officers were dispatched to the scene around 5:45 a.m. where they discovered that Tignor had been fatally shot. Authorities promptly identified him and began an investigation into the circumstances surrounding his death, which was ruled a homicide.
