On a Christmas Day that should have been filled with joy, tragedy struck a Kansas City, Kansas family. Ernest Moore Sr., a 71-year-old Black/African American male, was celebrating the holiday with his loved ones at a home on Richmond Avenue on December 25, 2017. The festive gathering was abruptly interrupted by the sound of gunfire outside the residence.
