Ernest Moore Sr., a 71-year-old Black/African American male, was celebrating the holiday with his loved ones at a home on Richmond Avenue on December 25, 2017. The festive gathering was abruptly interrupted by the sound of gunfire outside the residence.
Concerned, Moore Sr. went to the front of the house to investigate the source of the shots.
