In the spring of 2020, a burst of violence on a Kansas City, Kansas, street tragically cut short the life of a 72-year-old man from Kansas City, Missouri. Bernard Matlock, a male, was found shot on the sidewalk in the 1300 block of Central Avenue on the evening of March 31, 2020. The events of that night left him clinging to life, and he was quickly transported to a local hospital for urgent medical care.
