In the early morning hours of May 24, 2021, the quiet Greenbrier Condominiums complex in Overland Park, Kansas, was disturbed by the sound of a single gunshot. Officers who were dispatched to the 8500 block of West 85th Street shortly after 5:20 a.m. discovered the body of 35-year-old Jeren Hinton.
