On the evening of May 3, 2020, a dedicated White male police officer, 37-year-old Mike Mosher, was tragically killed in a shootout in Overland Park, Kansas. While on his way to work in his personal vehicle, Mosher witnessed a hit-and-run accident at West 143rd Street and Antioch Road. Being in uniform, he immediately radioed dispatch to report the incident and began to follow the suspect's vehicle.
