Israel L. Luna, a 19-year-old male from Chicago, IL, tragically lost his life on August 21, 2021. The incident occurred in the Back of the Yards neighborhood on the South Side of Chicago. Around 6:40 p.m., Israel L. Luna was on the street in the 4700 block of South Wolcott Avenue when an unknown assailant approached him and opened fire.
